Tournament Structure

There will be 2 levels of tournaments: Masters League Qualifiers, and World Finals.

Champions of Masters League Qualifiers will receive a sponsored invitation to the Masters World Finals in Spring 2027.

The 2nd and 3rd place will receive non-sponsored invitations to the Masters World Finals.

Invitations that are not accepted will be passed down, up to the 4th place. Sponsored invitations may only be passed down to the 4th place if both the 2nd and 3rd place are unable to attend.

If the champion of a Masters League Qualifier has already accepted a sponsored invitation, the sponsored invitation for that Masters League Qualifier will be passed down. Similarly, if the 2nd or 3rd place of a Masters League Qualifier has already accepted any invitation, the non-sponsored invitation for that Masters League Qualifier will be passed down.

All Masters League Qualifiers, as well as Masters World Finals, will be designated as Level 3 tournaments. Side Events held at Masters League Qualifier events are designated as Level 1 tournaments.

Players will be able to compete and receive invitations in any region.

Players must contact Bushiroad at least two weeks before the Masters World Finals take place if they are unable to accept the invitation or cannot make it. If they fail to do so, it will be considered a no-show without notice, which may result in a penalty.
